In Australia, tick treatment for pets is particularly important in regions where tick populations are prevalent, especially areas where the deadly paralysis tick (Ixodes holocyclus) is common. The primary regions that require tick treatment in pets include:
Eastern Coastal Regions
Queensland: The coastal areas of Queensland, particularly from Far North Queensland down to the Gold Coast, are high-risk zones for paralysis ticks.
New South Wales: The north coast (around Byron Bay) to Sydney and even further down to the South Coast are well-known tick hotspots.
Victoria: The Gippsland region and other coastal areas in eastern Victoria can also have tick populations.
Fraser Island
Fraser Island (K’gari) in Queensland is notorious for ticks, particularly paralysis ticks, making it a very high-risk area for pets.
Bushland and Suburban Areas
Areas with dense bushland, forests, or long grass, even in suburban locations near these habitats, can have ticks. This is common in many parts of the eastern states, especially near national parks and reserves.
Northern Territory

Given the risk of paralysis ticks in these areas, it is crucial to maintain regular tick prevention and check your pets frequently, especially during the tick season, which typically runs from spring to autumn.
Dosage and Administration
Apply one (1) tube topically to the skin of your pet at the recommended minimum dose rate of 6 mg selamectin per kg body weight once a month.

HOW TO REMOVE THE BLISTER PACKAGE:
Use scissors to cut off ONE blister pack and cut across the top bubble section.
Peel off the foil from the cut line and take out the tube
HOW TO APPLY:
Hold the tube in an upright position facing away from you and your pet's eyes. Screw the capoff the tube
The pet should be standing for easy application. Apply the product directly to the skin without massaging iinto the site. Part the hair on the back of the pet in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible
Place the tip of the tube through the pet’s hair to the skin level and squeeze the tube thoroughly to ensure the entire contents are applied directly in a single spot onto the skin.
Avoid contact between the product and fingers. Keep away from eyes. Do not apply when the animal hair coat is wet. Do not apply the product superficially to the hair coat and avoid contact with the treated area until dry. Bathing or shampooing the animal two or more hours after treatment will not reduce the efficacy.

Contraindications
This product is contraindicated for use on puppies less than 6 weeks of age.
